Questions

Which languages work on which app?
The Chrome extension handles Chinese, Japanese and Korean. The Mac and Windows apps support Chinese for now. One Uberlang Pro plan covers every app and every language.
Is my reading private?
Dictionary lookups happen inside the extension, and the Mac app reads and translates the screen on your device. Screenshots are never saved or uploaded. We only store your account email, usage counts for the free limits, and saved words if you turn on sync.
What does the free plan include?
150 hover lookups a day in Chrome, 50 saved words, and 30 minutes of live video captions a day on Mac and Windows. The limits are shared across every language you read. No account needed to start.
How does the free trial work?
The first time you sign in, your account gets 7 days of Uberlang Pro. No card needed. When it ends you drop back to the free plan unless you subscribe.
Do I need a separate subscription for each app or language?
No. One Uberlang Pro plan covers every app and every language, with the same limits shared across all of them. Sign in with the same Google account everywhere.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel whenever you like and Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. If you need a hand, email support@uberlang.com.
Is there a phone app?
Not yet. On a phone you can email yourself the link and install Uberlang on your computer.
